RENDERING EQUIPMENT
Drainer Conveyor
In rendering, drainer conveyors (sometimes called percolators) are a critical but often overlooked component of process performance. Positioned between the cooker and the press, their role is to remove free liquid from cooked material before pressing.
Without removal, excess liquid can reduce screw press efficiency, increase downstream load, and negatively impact fat recovery and meal consistency in both low-temperature and high-temperature rendering systems.
Our 4th-generation drainer conveyor builds on 35 years of rendering experience. We custom-build each unit to suit the installation, the material being processed, and the plant around it.
