Biofilter
 Bio-filtration has become a widely used method
for the reduction of odours. The odorous gases are
passed through a bed of organic material, such as compost, tree
bark, soil etc. The filter medium absorbs the odorous
compounds that are then broken down to non-odorous compounds by
microorganisms in the medium. The MIRINZ Bio-filter is the
result of extensive research over several years to develop and
improve the design and to ensure reliable and efficient
operation. Applications include meat rendering, fish meal,
wastewater treatment plants, food manufacturing, brewing and
distilling, mushroom growing etc.
Venturi Scrubbers
Rendertech have a range of Venturi Scrubbers
(VS) for the removal of particulate matter from air streams prior
to deodorizing or discharging to atmosphere. The Rendertech
venturi scrubbers are designed for high efficiency and reliable
operation.
Packed Tower Chemical Scrubbers
 Rendertech manufacture a range of Packed Tower
Scrubbers (PTS) for the deodorizing of various waste
streams. Oxidation of odours is achieved by chemical means
using common inorganic agents such as sodium hypochlorite.
Chemical treatment is suitable for high volume, low to medium
intensity odour streams and where available space is limited.
