Continuous Cooker

The drier consists of a horizontal shaft carrying a number of steam heated hollow discs that rotate in the product. Fitted to the edge of the discs are agitator paddles to transport the material along the drier.

Materials of construction are selected to suit the application and extensive use of stainless steel is typical to ensure a long life. The CD is simple to operate and maintain. The exhaust from the drier is predominantly water vapour with a small amount of air. Volumes to condense and deodorize are consequently small.

The CD drier is available in a range of sizes from 20m² to over 400m², providing evaporative capacities up to 12,000 kg/h depending on the product.

Precookers

The Rendertech Precooker (PC) is an indirect steam heated indirect cooker for the pre-cooking of meat and poultry material prior to mechanical separation in wet (low temperature) rendering systems. This simple, robust cooker is available in capacities from 5 t/hour to 25 t/hour.  

Fish Cooker 

The Rendertech Fish Cooker (FC) is an indirect steam heated cooker for the gentle cooking of fish and fish scraps. The cooker is also equipped with direct steam injection for additional heating.  It is fitted stainless steel covers for easy inspection and maintenance. The FC Cooker is economical, thermally efficient with low maintenance requirements.  

Continuous Feather Hydrolyser

The Continuous Feather Hydrolyser converts poultry feathers and hog hair into a highly nutritional animal feed. The hydrolysers operating parameters are adjusted to produce the optimum combination of digestibility and protein levels. Continuous and simple operation ensures the minimum operator input is required. Materials of construction have been proven to offer long life with minimum maintenance.

Raw material capacities of 2.2t/hour to 13 t/hour are available.    

Batch Cooker

Rendertech are suppliers of Batch Cookers and Batch Hydrolysers. These rugged cookers have the ability to handle a wide variety of materials including beef, sheep, hog, poultry, blood, and poultry feathers.     

Cookers with volumes of 3,000 litres to 8,000 litres are supplied.
